Responsibilities
- To be part of the deck maintenance team as directed by bosun or Chief Officer
- To be part of the team in keeping deck and accommodation spaces clean and corrosion free
- To attend mooring / unmooring operations as directed by bosun and deck officer
- To be part of bridge watch as a lockout or wheelsman as directed by the officer of the watch
- To be part of deck hands in keeping side safety appliances and rescue boats ready for use
Must Have
- STCW mandatory safety courses from an IMO recognized center
- Certified as part of bridge watch from an IMO recognized center
- Ability to speak and read English language
Nice to have
- Ability to speak Arabic Language
- OSHA training
- Pollution prevention training
