Responsibilities
- Perform engine room watch accompanying Engineer of the watch or Chief Engineer
- Keep engine room machineries and spaces clean and tidy
- Ensure good storage of tools and spare parts
- Report any malfunctions or failure, sound or smells to the Engineer on watch or the Chief Engineer
- Be aware of the location of safety appliances and firefighting equipment.
- Be familiar of using fire extinguishers and breathing apparatus
Must Have
- STCW safety mandatory courses
- STCW certified as rating part of engine room watch.
- Bilingual in English language speaking and writing.
Nice to have
- Saudi citizen has the priority
- Received training in oil pollution prevention.
- Received training on maritime security
