Responsibilities

  • Lead the on-shore and off-shore maintenance teams to ensure that vessels are kept well-maintained by following the OEM's recommendations and the best marine practice.
  • Provide a 24/7 response to breakdowns and liaise with other department heads accordingly.
  • Get involved in the recruitment of technical team members.
  • Ensure that the preventive maintenance of assets is followed.
  • Report Directly to the General Manager

Must Have

  • An STCW Certificate of Competency from an IMO recognized canter and with a capacity of Management level that is appropriate to the vessel's HP 
  • STCW Mandatory Safety Courses
  • Blaze and Major Patron Licenses are not accepted
  • Profession in English language
  • Interpersonal skills to lead a big team
  • An experience in a similar role not less that 1 year
  • Literacy in using computer's applications (Word, Excell and PowerPoint)

Nice to have

  • Saudi citizen has the priority
  • Ability to speak Arabic language.
  • ISM, ISPS, OSHA, etc.
  • Being exposed to major repairs and vessel's dry-docking
