Responsibilities
- Lead the deck maintenance team as directed by the Chief Officer
- To lead the deck team in keeping the deck and accommodation clean, organized and corrosion free
- To guide the mooring/ unmooring stations, anchoring and lifting operations teams
- To ensure that the deck maintenance is efficient and complies with the code of safe working practice
- to generalize the safety acts among all the deck crew
- to set crew watchkeeping deck station rotation as directed by the Chief Officer
- To ensure that a good inventory of paints, tools and ropes at all times
Must Have
- STCW Mandatory safety courses
- Certified rating as part of bridge watch from a recognized center
- Bilingual English language
- Knowledge of using winches, cranes, windless and rope handling
Nice to have
- Saudi citizen has the priority
- A sea time experience on a similar vessel
- Received training on Maritime security and oil pollution prevention.
