Responsibilities
- Lead the on-shore and off-shore maintenance teams to ensure that vessels are kept well-maintained by following the OEM's recommendations and the best marine practice.
- Provide a 24/7 response to breakdowns and liaise with other department heads accordingly.
- Get involved in the recruitment of technical team members.
- Ensure that the preventive maintenance of assets is followed.
- Report Directly to the General Manager
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval architecture
- An Class II/III STCW Certificate of Competency Management Level from an IMO recognized Center and subject to limitations if any
- STCW Mandatory Safety Courses
- Blaze and Major Patron Licenses are not accepted
- Age: not more than 50 years
- Profession in English language
- Interpersonal skills to lead a big team
- An experience in a similar role not less that 8 years in Marine Maintenance and Dry-docking
- Knowledge in managing mixed-type fleet including jack-up barges, Supply vessels and Tugboats
- Literacy in using computer's applications (Word, Excell and PowerPoint)
- ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL and others IMO Conventions
Nice to have
- Saudi citizen has the priority
- Ability to speak Arabic language.
- Experince in Offshore or Oilfield Marine Operations
- Being exposed to major repairs and vessel's dry-docking
